This hinged box is made from solid sustainable Mango wood with a high wax finish.

We get a few which are knotty and not much cop for normal engraving.

We have designed this not only to commemorate five happy years of marriage, but to help us clear our knotty boxes. The item illustrated has a pretty bad knot, most are not as bad as this. We don't make the trees so the knot, the wild grain or irregularities could be anywhere, nature is a wonderful thing. We will position the heart and initials, the five-bar gate with the text underneath around the knot so each box is unique. If fact you could tell the recipient, you did it yourself with a magnifying glass using the sun!

Just don't expect it to look like this one.
